European Sleep Research Conference 2026
I’m at ESRS, the European Sleep Research conference in Maastricht. There is a poster presentation of the pilot study that Dr Maity, of the Institute of Sleep Science in Kolkata has conducted on our Zeez Sleep Pebble. 25 people, an evaluation of feasibility, safety and efficacy of the Zeez Sleep Pebble in adults with insomnia-spectrum symptoms, including COMISA. The primary outcome was a change in the Epworth Sleepiness Scale - and we got that, with a drop in the mean score from 12.4 to 5.1 - 7.3 points. I am tremendously proud. I have always known that our tech is good - and still, it feels very validating to have this confirmed. Some of the participants were CPAP users. Their oxygen levels were addressed by their CPAP, but they still slept poorly - and the Zeez Sleep Pebble prompts a good sleep pattern.
We think that the Zeez Sleep Pebble has a place alongside CPAP devices, with the CPAP addressing the medical problem and the Zeez helping with the pattern of poor sleep that may persist after respiratory problems have been addressed, Our device can also help partners who find it hard to sleep well next to a CPAP user.
I (Anna) will be at the conference until Friday. Please send an email to anna@zeez.org.uk if you’re interested in meeting.
What does the Zeez under-pillow sleep device do?
The Zeez Sleep Pebble uses low power electromagnetic frequencies which mimic the brain to help you fall asleep and sleep better. Watch this video to better understand how it works, or read the research behind the Zeez, find out why a brainwave sleep device might help, and read sleep stories from our users.
